Hey, y'all! Philadelphia was awesome! We got to see so many places and things I've read about--the Liberty Bell, Congress Hall, Independence Hall, and the post office where Benjamin Franklin was postmaster--as well as just walking around downtown. We just barely made it into Independence Hall; they have to limit the number of people in the Hall at a time, so they do ticketed tours. When we got to the Visitor's Center, they said they had already given out all the tickets for the day. Man, were we disappointed! But then as we started into a different building next door to the Hall, the security officer asked us if we'd gotten to see Independence Hall. When we said no, he said, "How many people are in your party? I have some extra tickets here..." =D So we got to go after all!
