Dancing in the Rain

I was reading my devotional book this morning ( Jesus Calling by Sarah Young), and today's devotional really made me think. Here's part of what it said: " Secret things belong to the Lord, (direct quote from Deut. 29:29) and future things are secret things. My poor blog has been so neglected recently... :P And tonight I only have time to quickly post this week's "Tuesday's Tidbit"; I should really already be in bed. OK, so here's the latest in my collection of really-not-necessary-information: 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily. Kinda scary, huh? Hey, y'all! Sorry I missed "Simply Sunday"...it was a "Sickly Sunday" around here. :P Three of us spent the day laying around feeling pretty miserable, watching movies and football. I'm feeling almost better today; once I kick this sore throat, I'll be fine! :D We grew up listening to this song by Ray Stevens called "Mississippi Squirrel Revival", and we all loved it. Well, apparently, there is a music video that goes with it...check it out, and be ready to laugh!

Hey, all, I'm trying to figure out how to get photo slideshows up here. Right now I'm testing "Flickr"; we'll see if this works. And if anybody has any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment passing on your wisdom! :D Update: it works!! :D OK, so y'all have seen some of these pictures before; they're from the Gaither Vocal Band and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound concert we went to last October. But I'll leave the slideshow up here so y'all can see them again. Now that I know how to do it, maybe I'll get some new pictures up! :D

Hey, y'all! Well, on Tuesday I tried to get on to post "Tuesday's Tidbit", but I was at work in Little Elm and couldn't get the internet connection to work for me. Then yesterday, I was gone until about 7pm, and once I got home I just plain forgot to post a "Wise & Witty" quote for Wednesday. I'm not going to try to play catch up, either, so you'll just have to wait until next week. However, I will say that I'm working on getting pictures/videos from my phone to my computer (we'll see if I can make this work!) so *maybe* I'll have some of that up for you soon. :D
