More videos!

Here's one more video, from our "Journey Behind the Falls" at Niagara Falls: Behind the Falls Also, just for fun, here's a video that a friend sent to me. I think it's funny for anybody, but I will admit that homeschoolers (or those who know and love them) probably get the biggest kick out of it: The Homeschool Family OK, that's all for now...I'm off to finish cleaning the house! Coming soon: videos from Valley Forge and Philadelphia, PA! =D

Vacation Videos

Some of the long-awaited videos are here! =D I've got a video from the drive through Missouri, one of probably 2 or 3 videos of Niagara Falls, and a video from us goofing off around the house on Mom's birthday (April 19--Happy birthday, Mom! =D). Here's the links to them: Missouri Niagara Falls Goofing Off Now that I've got a program to edit the videos, etc., I should get the rest up in the next couple days. This is kind of fun! =D We haven't really been up to much lately, just normal family stuff. Hanging out, doing school, etc. We got to go to San Angelo for church last week. That was great! We really miss it. I started "working" again this last week. A lot of people think that what I do isn't really work, and I suppose that at times I might agree with them. I mean, I get paid to play with babies and little kids. But then, if you work with kids, you know that it really is hard work! Anyway, I'm babysitting two little boys (one is 4 and one is 5 m

Back in TEXAS!

TEXAS is still my absolute favorite place to be! =D It's great to be back; the weather is so much warmer here! I'm in San Angelo this week, helping out a mom I babysat for while I lived here, and the weather has been beautiful. Which is great since that means we can play at the playground everyday. On the other hand--reading books, watching movies, and playing with cars and trains is a LOT easier than being perpetually "it" in a long game of tag, running up and down slides and ladders, with a 4-year-old who wants to be tagged but hates being "it". *shrug* Fun, but exhausting. =D In other news...the trip back from our very fun, very long vacation was good. Lots of hours in the car, but we made it back safe and sound. We went to the Creation Science Museum in Kentucky on Friday. It was awesome! I would highly recommend it to people. Lots of cool stuff, everything presented from a Biblical viewpoint--very nice! The other highlight of the trip back was a stop

NYC

So, we visited New York City, New York yesterday. We saw the Statue of Liberty, Liberty Island, Ground Zero, and Times Square. We also saw the Empire State Building, Ellis Island, Brooklyn and the Brooklyn bridge from a distance. We drove into the city (we even managed to go the wrong way on a one-way street!), rode a ferry, rode the subway, and walked...so we could "really experience" the city! =D We rode the Staten Island Ferry to Staten Island, where we got off and got right back on another ferry back to Manhattan (we just wanted to see the city night lights). It was a great day! =D Tomorrow we start for home; we'll make it to Ohio tomorrow, Missouri on Friday, Texas panhandle on Saturday, and home on Sunday! We're all about ready to be home by now..."wherever I wander, there's no place like home!"
